These rumors have prompted Phil Spencer, the CEO of Microsoft Gaming, to speak out yesterday and announce a “business update” planned for next week. “We’re listening and we hear you,” he said on his Twitter account.
“We’ve been planning a business update event for next week, where we look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox. Stay tuned.” This statement likely follows the numerous rumors about the possible arrival of games previously planned exclusively for Xbox on PS5.
Microsoft has not officially commented on any of these rumors, so we will have to wait until next week for clarification.
