After almost a week of speculation, the demo for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has finally been confirmed for February 6, 2024. The demo will feature two distinct segments, allowing players to discover different aspects of the Remake sequel. It will apparently let players “embody Cloud or Sephiroth during the Nibelheim episode. Experience the first chapter of the game’s story and explore the world map.

At that event, players had the chance to get their hands on Rebirth for the first time in France. It remains to be seen whether the demo will showcase the entirety of the first chapter of the story, or just a segment similar to what was possible at PGW 2023.
